How many people can I refer?
As many as you like – but they must have a genuine requirement for our services, be over 18 and reside at a different address than yourself.
When will I get my voucher?
We’ll credit both of your accounts within 30 days of the person you referred making their qualifying trade with us. Even if it takes several months or years for the person you refer to transfer £5000 (or currency equivalent) you will still receive your account credit as soon as they reach that threshold.
Can I receive a voucher in different currencies?
All account credits will be allocated according to the registration address, but you have the option to transfer the credit between your currency wallets. Customers who are registered with Currencies Direct Limited (UK) will receive account credit in GBP. Those registered with Currencies Direct, Inc. (US) will be granted account credit in USD. Customers registered with Currencies Direct Spain E.D.E S. L will obtain account credit in EUR.

- This offer is only open to existing Currencies Direct customers in the UK, US, or the EU with an active account with Currencies Direct Limited (UK), Currencies Direct Spain E.D.E S.L. (EU) or Currencies Direct, Inc. (US). Each of these companies will be referred to as ‘’Currencies Direct’’.
- If the person referred already has an account with Currencies Direct, neither the referrer nor the referred person will qualify for the account credit.
- Referrals will only be considered valid where the referral has been made by the tracked link available in our app or online platform. We will only register referrals as customers if they meet all our onboarding requirements.
- Customers registered with Currencies Direct Limited (UK) will be issued account credit in GBP. Customers registered with Currencies Direct, Inc. (US) will be issued account credit in USD. Customers registered with Currencies Direct Spain E.D.E S. L will be issued account credit in EUR.
- Customers can move the credit between their currency wallets in their account.
- The referred person must transfer £5000 or the currency equivalent (€5000 for customers registered with Currencies Direct Spain E.D.E S.L. or $5000 for customers registered with Currencies Direct, Inc.) ,by a single payment or several payments, into their Currencies Direct account and then convert that amount into another currency (e.g. convert GBP into EUR). Subject to these terms and conditions, we will then issue account credit to the referrer and the referred person within 30 days of the currency conversion.
- Eligibility for the account credit does not depend on the currencies traded. As long as the value of the transfer/s is equivalent to £5,000 (or €5000 or $5000, dependent on the company registered with), the account credit will be issued, subject to these terms and conditions. We will calculate whether the amount transacted is equivalent to the threshold amount or more using spot rates of exchange at the time of calculation.
- A referrer may refer any number of friends/family members. The offer is only open to referrers 18 years of age or older.
- We will only give account credit if we believe that the referred person has a genuine interest in using our currency transfer services – we won’t give account credit to anyone we think is ‘’recycling’’ money, abusing our scheme, acting fraudulently or not acting in good faith. All decisions about the validity of referrals are at our discretion.
- The referrer is not allowed to create more than one Currencies Direct account for the purposes of this scheme or to issue refer a friend links to themselves or to people who they do not know personally.
- This offer is not available in conjunction with any other offer. The scheme excludes Currencies Direct employees (and anyone employed by other companies within the Redpin Group) and their extended family members, affiliates of Currencies Direct and their employees and also excludes anyone who uses Currencies Direct services via their employer’s benefits or payroll scheme.
- The referrer and referred person cannot live at the same address.
- Currencies Direct may terminate a referrer’s or referred person’s access to the refer a friend scheme or refuse to pay an account credit at its discretion if it believes that any of these terms has been breached or a condition has not been met.
- Currencies Direct may alter, discontinue or suspend the "refer a friend" scheme or change its rules at any time. If we decide to make a significant change or discontinue the scheme, we will give at least four weeks’ notice of that by placing a notice on this website.
- The refer a friend scheme runs for an indefinite period until discontinued by us, as set out above. The last date on which you can make a claim under this scheme is the final business day of the four weeks' notice period referred to above.
- These terms and conditions are governed by English law.
