Who can I send EUR to?

You can send EUR to:

  • Any SEPA country, including the UK
  • Countries outside SEPA (using SWIFT payment)

What details do I need for the recipient?

For SEPA countries, you’ll need their:

  • Full name
  • IBAN (13-34 characters)
  • SWIFT/BIC code (8-11 characters)

For countries outside SEPA (using SWIFT payment):

  • Name (as it appears on their account)
  • SWIFT/BIC code (8-11 characters)

How long will it take for my EUR to arrive?

For SEPA countries
We can transfer your EUR on the same working day, if we receive your payment by 10:00 am.
For Non-SEPA countries
We can transfer your money on the same working day, if we receive your payment by 14:25.

(Occasionally we might need you to supply additional documents, which can affect the transfer time. But we’ll keep you informed every step of the way.)


Do you limit the amount of EUR I can send?

No. Some FX companies limit the amount of EUR you can send or receive.
We give you the freedom to send as many euros as you like.


How can I pay for my EUR transfer?

You can pay by:

  • Bank transfer
  • Debit card
Please note, you can pay by debit card however, the currencies available can vary. If your registered address is in the UK or European Union (EU) you can use debit card to pay us in GBP or EUR. If your registered address is in the USA, you can use debit card to pay us in USD. If you’re not sure about your options, please speak to our team.

What does SEPA mean?

SEPA stands for Single Euro Payments Area.
It simplifies EUR bank transfers for its members. As of Jan 2022, SEPA countries are:

Austria, Andorra, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland , France, Germany, Greece, Guernsey, Hungary, Isle of Man, Jersey, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Monaco, United Kingdom, Vatican City State.

What is an IBAN? 

IBAN stands for International Bank Account Number.
IBANs make it easier to send or receive funds from overseas. They don’t replace your sort code and account number; they contain extra characters that help overseas banks identify your account.

Here’s how an IBAN might look for a bank account in Germany:

What is a German IBAN number made up of?

What is a SWIFT code?

The SWIFT international payment network is used to send and receive electronic payments (also known as wire payments). It sends payment orders between banks using SWIFT codes, so banks can transfer money quickly, reliably, and securely.

SWIFT code format: AAAA | BB | 11 | 222

AAAA – represents the bank (for example, Barclays is BUKB)

BB – represents the country where the bank is located.

11 – designates location of banks main office.

222 – code for the bank branch.
