You can send AED to any bank account in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
What details do I need for the recipient?
You’ll need their:
- Name (as it appears on their account)
- SWIFT/BIC code (8-11 characters)
- IBAN (AE, followed by a 21-character code)

No. Some FX companies limit the amount of AED you can send or receive.

The United Arab Emirates has a four-day working week – Monday to Thursday. Government employees have a flexible half day on Fridays. So, money arriving Friday may not be processed until the next working day (usually Monday unless there are public holidays).
